Pence was in Las Vegas, flew to Indiana to stage a walk-out on players who took a knee during the National Anthem and then went to a fundraiser in California for Russia’s favorite useful idiot Dana Rohrbacher. I’d pay twice if Trump walked out early. Wouldn’t you?

Last night a man with automatic weapons unloaded clip after clip after clip on concert goers in Las Vegas, from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel, killing 58 and wounding more than 400. Every American waited to hear if the man was a Muslim or at least black. When the shooter turned out to be a 64-year-old white retiree from just outside Vegas, using military weapons of war, some of us were relieved. Relieved that gasoline wasn’t poured on our already uncontained racial fires. Others pounded out the fake news: “False flag, a Muslim convert, member of ISIS.” The truth is unbearable. There have been 328 mass shootings in 2017, mostly by angry white guys and today is only the 275th day of the year.
Weapons of war are in the hands of ordinary citizens and the police. The NRA argued that more guns would equal fewer shootings. They were wrong. They said the only thing that stops a bad man with a gun is a good man with a gun. They were wrong. More guns equal more shootings. More powerful guns equal more mass killings.
Before all of this carnage in Vegas, the Mayor of San Juan pled for help on live television, only to be told by the President of the United States, who was speaking at a golf tournament, that she is lazy, nasty and ineffective. The President seems to be giving his cult members more license to rage. His followers already carry torches in the street, defend the Confederacy and shout “Jews will not replace us.” A mayor who begs for help after a direct hit by a Category 5 hurricane, pisses off the President’s fragile ego and is called lazy, nasty, ineffective. The President then presents her with a Golf Trophy. An empty cup.
Brown Americans can drink from an empty cup. Is there a double standard? Is it racial? Remember what your first thought was this morning when you heard about Las Vegas. Maybe we should all take a knee and beg for help.
HOMEWORK 09-28-17 ~ TRUMPS KATRINA
So I wondered how America was able to supply our Viet Nam soldiers who were fighting in rice paddies, thick jungles, hillsides, and mountaintops. Turns out our military has the most amazing logistical command. Puerto Rico will be very surprised by this news. Nothing is getting to the people there. Could it be because in the Presidential Primary they voted for “Little Marco” in huge numbers? Could it be because they are brown? Trump will wish he was nicer, or at least competent because there is going to be an influx of American citizens who can vote, most likely to Florida, the “swingiest swing state” we have. Too bad for the GOP.
Trump threw a 9-page “framework” for Tax Cuts out there. It raises the bottom rate from 10% to 12%, lowers taxes for people over $400,000 and slashes the Corporate rate from 35% to 20%. It costs $20 Trillion which will be added to the Debt.
Colin Kaepernick won the first battle in the war against a rigged Justice System. Keep it up!
HOMEWORK 09-27-17 ~ THE LAST THROES OF THE INSURGENCY
White America is in the last throes of the insurgency. Soon they will be a minority in the United States. Their guilt and fear has turned them into desperate creatures. Our leaders have begun to look to White Nationalist foreign governments to preserve their system of inequality. They will, very soon, wish they had been nicer to people.
Progressives must cope and deal with this. Until we recognize what’s eating at the White Nationalist crowd we can’t move forward. No justice, no policy. Justice and equality are entry-level politics.
We are a young country that will experience many changes as long as we endure, but without a solid foundation, our house will crumble. This is what we believe:
We the People of the United States, will form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.
