HOMEWORK 12/30/24 ~ A SOMBER HOLIDAY UPDATE

Homework

While we on Team Randi hope your holiday season has been filled with fun, family, & rest, there are times when news events are so important they call for us to return, even briefly, from our holiday break. Sadly, the death of former President Jimmy Carter is one of those kinds of events. We invite you to read about his life and legacy in the news stories below, as well as reading about the events celebrating him coming between now and January 9.

Since you’ve likely been away from the news, we’ve also included a few more updates today on topics like the new MAGA civil war over H-1B visas, and the potential failure this Friday by the Republican Congress to elect a new Speaker of the House. Check out the stories, and catch up on the news you might have missed.

Randi will be back live on January 6, 2025, with more live shows and all the latest news, but make sure to check out our “Best Of” shows, including a special note in today’s Best Of show about Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter.

Have a safe & Happy New Years, and we’ll see you live on January 6, 2025.
