CRUEL AND UNUSUAL

The Republicans voted to destroy the healthcare system in this country simply because they spent 7 years promising they would… and with majorities in both Houses and The Presidency they needed “A win.” Turns out their win will be a loss OF LIFE for 24 Million. Finally! Death Panels in the Healthcare law, just like they said.

I can’t remember a time, ever, that the President of the United States held a VICTORY Party after one chamber took a vote on anything. Apparently tearing our lives apart puts House Members in “the mood” to party.

The House had to vote on an unread, unscored bill but 24 million Americans know what it’s going to cost them—their healthcare! And those are just the customers in the Individual Marketplace. Employers will likely stop offering Health Insurance soon too.

Who votes on legislation without a CBO score? Maybe they’re setting that up as their excuse because TRUMPCARE will hurt millions of people and Republican lawmakers. It’s a twofer, everybody!

This bill essentially takes a trillion dollars away from health care for the American people and gives it to the super-wealthy as tax cuts. Without that trillion dollars supporting Medicaid and subsidies to help people afford their insurance, our country has become a cash cow to be milked by the oligarchs. What’s truly stunning is the real fix for lowering premiums would be paying Insurers what we originally promised to pay them.

I must say that Rep. Billy Long of Missouri, who switched to support this bill at Trump’s urging, is THE perfect face for this healthcare bill—if he wasn’t a Congressman, morbidly obese Billy Long could be the poster boy for pre-existing conditions! And Long just denied health coverage to millions of his fellow fatties. I hope they give him hell at the next Jenny Craig meeting! Of course, I’m kidding. Billy Long is so fat that Jenny Craig would even call preexisting conditions on him.

It’s like the high-risk pool is filled with deadly chemicals and acid so the GOP threw a cup of water into it and said, “It’s safe now, everybody dive in!”

Good news looks like this piece of crap is DOA in the Senate.

Republican stalwart George Will wrote a scathing piece in the Washington Post called, “Trump has a Dangerous Disability.”

Admittedly, George Will gets on my last nerve, but you have to love the fact that he must annoy the crap out of Trump. Will said Trump has “an untrained mind bereft of information and married to stratospheric self-confidence.” Now THAT’s how you call someone an a-hole. And he goes on, “…his limitless gullibility leaves him susceptible to being blown about by gusts of factoids that cling like lint to a disorderly mind.” That right there explains how Steve Bannon, Michael Flynn, Rick Perry, Betsy Devos, Tom Price, Jeff Pruitt, Mick Mulvaney, Rex Tillerson and Jeff Sessions got jobs in the White House.
