After the Associated Press conducted one of the most bizarre interviews ever given by a sitting President, Trump tries to counter negative reporting by inviting a handful of conservative reporters to the White House. It didn’t go well. Disappointed after learning that they would not be allowed to quote Trump or any of the aides in attendance, a very supportive press leaves the White House totally frustrated. And it doesn’t end there. Conservative Republican Lindsey Graham pronounces Trump’s budget DOA in the Senate even after Trump drops the Border Wall payments.

Meanwhile, the Senate Intelligence Committee hasn’t issued a single subpoena or hired a single full-time staffer to work on the Russia Investigation, which seems to be coming to a head. For instance, just today Elijah Cummings and Jason in the House Chaffetz announce they believe General Michael Flynn lied on his Security Clearance Application, failed to disclose payments from Russia and Turkey and did not go through proper channels when traveling to Russia. The White House refuses to turn over any of the documents it has regarding Flynn’s vetting process or the eventual firing of the former National Security Advisor.

More ethical violations on the State Department website yesterday where an “ad” for Mar-a-Lago appeared and then disappeared but not before it was noticed by lawyers suing Trump for ethics violations.

Trump is not giving up on being a war-time President. Threatening North Korea with hostile language and a military build-up, Trump summons the entire US Senate to the White House.
